The good thing about the tutorial is that it doesn’t spoon feed you the actual hero aspect of the game i.e. surgeries. You are provided guidance by a fellow doctor in the OT but it is up to you to do the stitches and use other tools to perform the surgery correctly. Afterwards, the backstory, the characters and everything else starts to make sense as well and this is when you would actually become addicted to the game.

There is a lot going on in the game with the storyline certainly a huge puzzle when the game starts. You join a new hospital at the start of the game with a fiery fellow doctor always at your throat. You meet the hospital owner after a while and the story starts to build about how the hospital was created and what needs to be done to keep it functional. This is where other aspects to the game other than surgery come into play. The game essentially gives you the task to manage the hospital too with development of wards, hiring and management of surgeons and nurses and development of new hospital infrastructure all part of your responsibilities. This aspect of the game isn’t as fun for people who would just like to perform surgeries. However, for people who would like to experience hospital management as well, these aspects are definitely a goldmine.

The surgery game offers you the chance to perform various types of surgeries. There are six primary tools available at your disposal with guidance available throughout surgeries about how and which tool to use. From cutting the patient open to performing the actual work to closing the wound back up, all the tasks are part of each surgery. The graphics of the game are great while the medical aspect is also good enough. The surgeries may not be entirely reflective of the actual surgeries but provide a realistic idea of the manic job of a surgeon.
